The Problem: A Macan Bolster Tear (High-Friction Zone)
The outer bolster is the most abused part of a seat. Every time you slide in and out, that edge takes friction, pressure, and stretching. Once the leather topcoat breaks and the hide flexes, a small split turns into a tear—fast.
Why conditioner won’t fix this: a tear is structural damage. Oils can’t reattach missing material or rebuild a failed finish.

Our Repair Process (What We Actually Do)
1) Prep & Deep Clean
We decontaminated the area to remove body oils and silicone residue so the repair bonds correctly and doesn’t peel later.
2) Stabilize the Tear
The damaged edge was reinforced and stabilized so the tear can’t continue spreading. This is the “make it stop getting worse” step.
3) Rebuild the Surface (Flexible, Not Plastic)
We rebuilt the missing structure using flexible repair compounds designed for automotive seating—so it bends like leather, not like filler. Then we refined the texture to blend with the surrounding grain.
4) OEM Color Matching (Factory Black)
We mixed and applied color in thin, even layers to match the original Macan black. The goal is a natural leather look—not a painted patch.
5) Protective Topcoat for Daily Use
Finally, we sealed the repair with a durable protective finish built to handle friction and repeated entry/exit.
